Sportsbooks and sports betting did not receive legal acceptance in the US until the supreme court overruled the federal ban on sports betting in 2018. This expansion could not have come at a better time as more states are starting to incorporate sports betting into their list of regulated gambling activities, and the range of users is getting wider.
